Basketball Recap: Mountain Home Takes Down Blackfoot in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Mountain Home rose to the challenge on Saturday. They secured a 40-36 W over the Blackfoot Broncos. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 64-51 victory the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2019.

Blackfoot's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Tanner, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Tanner a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Jaci Capson, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Mountain Home has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Blackfoot and nudges their season record down to 19-7.
