Volleyball Recap: Carpinteria Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Carpinteria had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Mission College Prep Royals by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Carpinteria now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mission College Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Carpinteria didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Cabrillo on the 1st. As for Mission College Prep, they will venture away from home to take on Orcutt Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orcutt Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mission College Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
