Basketball Recap: Greenville Has No Trouble Against Kent City

While Greenville didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They greeted the New Year with with a 54-35 victory over the Kent City Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellow Jackets.

Greenville's record now sits at 6-1. As for Kent City, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Sparta the next time they take the court. Greenville will head out to face Sparta at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Kent City will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
