Basketball Game Preview: Lund Mustangs vs. Eureka Vandals

Lund hasn't had much luck against Eureka recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lund Mustangs will head out to take on the Eureka Vandals at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Lund: 28.2, Eureka: 20.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Lund turned things around against Carlin on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Railroaders, sneaking past 30-28.

Meanwhile, Eureka earned a 29-17 win over Owyhee on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vandals.

Eureka's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Lund, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-8.

Lund was taken down by Eureka 60-20 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lund was down 41-10.
