Twin Lakes is 9-1 against Tri-County since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Twin Lakes Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tri-County Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Twin Lakes has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Tri-County will arrive with 15 straight victories.

Last Monday, Twin Lakes lost to Culver Academies on the road by a 54-36 margin. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Eagles are ranked 71st).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jasmine West, who posted eight points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Taylor Oliver, who had 14 points and six rebounds.

Even though they lost, Twin Lakes smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Tri-County made easy work of Seeger on Thursday and carried off a 52-30 win. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Twin Lakes better keep an eye on Sara Zarse. She was instrumental in Tri-County's win, putting up 14 points. Gracie Scheitlin was another key player, scoring seven points.

Twin Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Tri-County, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.
