After a string of seven wins, Palma's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Monta Vista Matadors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Palma's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Monta Vista, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

Palma has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Everett Alvarez on the 14th. As for Monta Vista, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Homestead at 6:45 p.m. on the 22nd.
