Volleyball Recap: Tocoi Creek Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beachside, Tocoi Creek was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Christ's Church Academy Eagles. The Toros have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The victory got Tocoi Creek back to even at 10-10. As for Christ's Church Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-4 record this season.

Tocoi Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Matanzas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Pirates have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Christ's Church Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Beaches Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
