McComb gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 45-6 victory over the Tylertown Chiefs. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

McComb found their leader in sophomore Tramarion Davis, who threw for 137 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 44 yards. The Tigers' leading receiver Latedrick Mallard was Davis' top target yet again, picking up 67 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 36 yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McComb will take on Jefferson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tylertown, they will challenge Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
