Baseball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton and Johnson Creek squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Clinton had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to the Bluejays, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Tuesday.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Johnson Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Johnson Creek, they will square off against Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
