Volleyball Recap: Bemidji Lumberjacks vs. Maple Grove Crimson
Bemidji was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maple Grove Crimson. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lumberjacks of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
While Bemidji was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the 0th set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maple Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckinley Hardle, who had 11 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Swiers, who had four digs and 11 assists.
Bemidji's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Maple Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

As for Maple Grove, they will head out to challenge Robbinsdale Armstrong at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
