Softball Recap: Granite Hills Cougars vs. Adelanto Saints
In what's become a running theme this season, Granite Hills gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Adelanto Saints as the Granite Hills Cougars made off with a 14-7 win. The victory was nothing new for Granite Hills as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
Mia Vazquez made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up seven earned runs off ten hits. Vazquez has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Vazquez was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with a home run, four runs, and four RBI.
