Baseball Recap: Oak Forest Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Oak Forest entered their tilt with Hillcrest on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hawks a 12-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Bengals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Vince Weber was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Weber was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
