Basketball Recap: Fairfax Takes a Loss

Fairfax lost against Robinson back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fairfax Lions were outmatched by the Robinson Rams and fell 60-21. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Rams are ranked 12th).

This is the second loss in a row for Fairfax and nudges their season record down to 5-12. As for Robinson, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Fairfax will head out to challenge West Potomac at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Potomac is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season. As for Robinson, they will host South County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
