Hillcrest entered their tilt with Oakhaven on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Oakhaven Hawks by a score of 76-69. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-53 back in January.

Hillcrest was led to victory by Alex Morgan and Jerrell Miller. Morgan went 10 for 11 on his way to 27 points and seven rebounds, while Miller made all 7 shots he took to post 21 points and eight boards. Morgan is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for five straight games. Ja?Coby Lewis was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took for 13 points.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was KySedreon Robinson, who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Amari Spates, who put up 18 points.

Hillcrest is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Oakhaven, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will take on City University School of Liberal Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hillcrest's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 games. As for Oakhaven, they will face off against Sheffield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
