Soccer Recap: Asheville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Asheville and Northern Guilford squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Asheville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Nighthawks by a score of 3-2. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Asheville couldn't quite close it out.

Tucker Ramey and River Harlan scored both of Asheville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Asheville's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6-1. As for Northern Guilford, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-5-2.

Asheville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northern Guilford, they will head out to take on Charlotte Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northern Guilford's defense better be ready for this one: Charlotte Catholic have averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season.
