Basketball Recap: New Bloomfield Takes a Loss

New Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 75-13 loss at the hands of the Westran Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 527th, while the Hornets are ranked 131st).

New Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Westran, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

New Bloomfield will head out on the road to take on Linn at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Westran, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-35 victory against Community on the 30th.
