Soccer Game Preview: DMLK vs. Regis Groff

The DMLK Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Regis Groff Fusion at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. DMLK's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

DMLK came up short against DSST: Conservatory Green on Monday, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as DMLK were already down 5-0.

Meanwhile, Regis Groff managed to keep up with DSST: Conservatory Green until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Fusion lost 3-0 to the Hornets. One reason for the loss might be Regis Groff's aggressive play style: three Regis Groff players were handed yellow cards.

DMLK's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Regis Groff, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2-1.

DMLK skirted past Regis Groff 3-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
