Modesto can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Neither they nor the Riverbank Bruins could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result was nothing new for the Panthers as the team haven't won a game since November 25th.

Modesto's draw gives them a new season record of 1-7-2. Meanwhile, Riverbank's record is now 4-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Modesto won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Merced at 5:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Riverbank and Foothill will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th. Riverbank's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
