Manteno has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 3rd. They came up short against the Reed-Custer Comets on Thursday, falling 5-2. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Manteno struggled afterwards.

Manteno's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for Reed-Custer, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manteno will welcome Lisle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Manteno's defense better be ready for this one: Lisle have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season. As for Reed-Custer, they will challenge Indian Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
