Soccer Game Preview: Middleton vs. Brandon

Middleton and Brandon are an even 3-3-1 against one another since November of 2014, but likely not for long. The Middleton Tigers will host the Brandon Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Middleton knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Brandon likes a good challenge.

Middleton's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past East Bay 4-0.

Middleton hit East Bay with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Wender Amesfort (2), Ustym Kuzmov, and Niranjan Neelakanta Pillai.

Meanwhile, Brandon had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They beat Jefferson by a goal, winning 2-1.

Brandon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8-2. As for Middleton, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8-1.

Middleton beat Brandon by a goal in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 4-3. Will Middleton repeat their success, or does Brandon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
