Baseball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pinecrest Academy Cadence on Monday, Eldorado came back down to earth. The Firehawks fell just short of the Moapa Valley Pirates by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday. The Firehawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Eldorado now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Moapa Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.

Coming up, Eldorado will venture away from home to face off against Bonanza at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Moapa Valley, they will welcome Sports Leadership & Management at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
