Volleyball Recap: Clairemont Falls Short of Montgomery in the Playoffs

Clairemont and Montgomery squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Clairemont had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Aztecs. The Chieftains were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Aztecs earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Clairemont's loss dropped their record down to 19-21. As for Montgomery, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Clairemont nor Montgomery have any future games scheduled.
