Volleyball Recap: Wabash Beats Northwestern for Their Fourth Straight Win

Wabash waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Northwestern Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Apaches, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Wabash's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Elli Hall and Bryleigh Boggs, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Zoe Vail and her 15 assists. Mya Whitaker controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wabash's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Northwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Wabash wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Culver Academies on the 20th. As for Northwestern, they are taking a road trip to square off against Peru at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
