The only big upset of the night is a doozy as unranked Greer fights back from two touchdown deficit to defeat previously unbeaten and eighth-ranked South Pointe.

Fort Dorchester is averaging over 40 points a game this season.

For the most part, playoff action went according to plan Friday night in South Carolina.

Out of all the Top 25 teams, only eighth-ranked South Point went down to defeat against un-ranked Greer 21-14. But that was a doozy of an upset.

Greer, down 14-0, scored the game's final 21 points and held South Pointe scoreless the last three quarters. Greer came into the game 4-6. South Point was 10-0.

Following touchdown runs from Quay Chambers (8 yards) and Nygel Moore (1 yard), the Stallions probably thought this would be a cakewalk. Instead, the Yellowjackets stung together three straight touchdowns on 6-yard touchdown runs from Hollis Crosby and Najawuan Smith, sandwiched between a 56-yard touchdown pass from Crosby to Isaiah Foster

The rest of the results went as planned, though No. 22 Laurens barely got by Blythwood, 43-40. Abbeville, ranked 11th, had no such tough time in an 85-22 win over Lewisville.

In games featuring two ranked teams, No. 5 Fort Dorchester defeated Lexington, 31-3, and No. 7 Gaffney defeated No. 13 Rock Hill.
