IMG Academy Black put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Sunlake Seahawks 9-1. The Ascenders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by eight runs or more this season.

IMG Academy Black got a great performance from Josh Riordan as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Sebastian Wilson and Aiden Choo did most of the damage at the plate: Wilson went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI, while Choo scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. Choo has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Juan Diaz, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

IMG Academy Black was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in four consecutive contests.

IMG Academy Black pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sunlake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
