Soccer Recap: Mount Juliet Has No Trouble Against Henry County

Henry County kept up with Mount Juliet until halftime on Sunday, but afterwards: not so much. The Golden Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mount Juliet.

They hit Henry County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jake Thompson, Connor McCarthy, and Jonas Winter.

Mount Juliet's win bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for Henry County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Mount Juliet wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-1 loss against Antioch on the 4th. As for Henry County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dickson County at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. The contest will give Henry County their first taste of in-conference action this season.
