Basketball Recap: Winslow Township Starts off Right with Win over King's Christian

Winslow Township took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They secured a 47-43 W over the King's Christian Knights. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matt Johnson, who posted 12 points. Cam Homer was another key player, putting up ten points.

This is the second loss in a row for King's Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winslow Township is headed away from home for the first time to take on Camden at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th. As for King's Christian, they will square off against Collingswood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
