Preview: Chancellor Chargers vs. Henrico Warriors
The Chancellor Chargers will be playing at home against the Henrico Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Chancellor had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Louisa County by a score of 71-58 on Tuesday. The win was just what Chancellor needed coming off of a 71-32 loss in their prior contest.
Chancellor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Charles Brown out in front who scored 15 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Ja?Den McCoy, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Henrico beat Godwin 67-60 on Wednesday.
Chancellor's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Henrico, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
