Football Game Preview: Northern Cass Jaguars vs. Langdon/Edmore/Munich

Northern Cass is 0-4 against Langdon/Edmore/Munich since August of 2019 but things could change on Saturday. The Jaguars will challenge Langdon/Edmore/Munich at 12:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Northern Cass 13.4, Langdon/Edmore/Munich 6.8) so any points scored will be well earned.

Northern Cass took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Valley City by a score of 24-13.

Hudson Rietschel was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 82 yards and one score, and also threw for 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards. Brooks Crockett was another key player, gaining 75 total yards and two touchdowns.

Northern Cass didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Crockett and Chris Hoiland, who each picked up one interception apiece.

Meanwhile, Langdon/Edmore/Munich strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let Grafton get on the board and left with a 42-0 victory. 42 seems to be a good number for Langdon/Edmore/Munich as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Northern Cass' record now sits at 6-3. As for Langdon/Edmore/Munich, their record is now 9-0.

Northern Cass came up short against Langdon/Edmore/Munich when the teams last played back in October of 2021, falling 6-2. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
