Volleyball Recap: Olivia Tome's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lake Nona over Mount Paran Christian

Lake Nona saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Paran Christian Eagles. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Tome, who had 14 assists and three digs.

Lake Nona's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Mount Paran Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Lake Nona has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Savannah Arts Academy on the 30th. As for Mount Paran Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Riviera Prep on the 30th.
