Basketball Game Preview: Armstrong Wildcats vs. Dinwiddie Generals

The Armstrong Wildcats and the Dinwiddie Generals will round out the year against one another at at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, the stars were shining brightly for Armstrong in a 58-41 win over Petersburg.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dinwiddie). They snuck past Petersburg with a 70-66 victory on Tuesday.

Armstrong better keep an eye on Madisyn Hurtt. She was instrumental in Dinwiddie's win, putting up 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolina Berry, who posted 12 points.

Dinwiddie's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Armstrong, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
