Preview: Lexington Christian Academy Lions vs. Pingree Highlanders
Lexington Christian Academy has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Pingree Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 77-44, which was the final score in Lexington Christian Academy's tilt against the Mariners on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Lexington Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 90th in Massachusetts, while the Mariners are ranked 15th in Rhode Island).
Meanwhile, Pingree pushed their score all the way to 61 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Brooks 65-61.

Lexington Christian Academy suffered a grim 62-39 defeat to the Highlanders in their previous meeting back in February of 2018. Can Lexington Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
