After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Green Valley, Del Sol was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Lake Mead Christian Academy Eagles 67-53. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Lake Mead Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caynen Abittan posted 22 points. That was a full 41.5% of Lake Mead Christian Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Del Sol moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
