Football Recap: Union Grove Wolverines vs. Jones County Greyhounds

After flying high against Woodland last Friday, Union Grove came back down to earth. The Union Grove Wolverines fell 21-14 to the Jones County Greyhounds on Friday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Union Grove's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was AVERY WRIGHT, who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.

It was another big night for Devin Edmonds, who threw for 255 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 34 yards for Jones County. 157 of those passing yards were hauled in by Jaivon Solomon.
