Basketball Recap: Schurz Takes a Loss

Schurz lost against Von Steuben back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Schurz Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 16-15 to the Von Steuben Panthers.

Schurz has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Von Steuben, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Senn the next time they take the court. Von Steuben will host Senn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Schurz will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
