Hanover waltzed into their contest on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Manchester West Blue Knights 3-0. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Knights, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-13.

Hanover can attribute much of their success to Olivia Grabinski, who had 29 assists and three aces. Those 29 assists gave Grabinski a new career-high.

Grabinski wasn't the only good servers: Hanover was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Hanover's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Manchester West, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hanover is set to face off against their familiar foe Fall Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Manchester West will square off against rival Pelham at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
