Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the North Forest Bulldogs, falling 67-33. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-45 back in December of 2024.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for North Forest, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-10 record.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-31 defeat against Trinity Presbyterian on the 3rd. North Forest has also already played their next contest (against Furr), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
