Basketball Recap: Oconee Christian Academy Warriors vs. King Academy Knights
The Oconee Christian Academy Warriors's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on King Academy with a sharp 49-29 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Oconee Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played last Thursday.
Oconee Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carson Duncan, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Frick, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.
The victory got Oconee Christian Academy back to even at 10-10. As for King Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Oconee Christian Academy will be playing at home against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Carolina (Cambridge Academy is ranked 278th, while the Warriors are ranked 267th). King Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
