Football Recap: Wray Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wray was the 42-7 winner over Limon when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 28-7 to the Badgers on Friday.

Austin Collins threw for 89 yards and one touchdown. Aaron Tena was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards and one score.

Jacob Jaklich was a one-man wrecking crew For Limon. as he rushed for 74 yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, Jaklich posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Tacha, who gained 92 total yards and a touchdown.

Wray's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Limon, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wray will square off against rival Yuma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Limon is set to challenge their familiar foe Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Badgers 10, the Cougars 15) so any points scored will be well earned.
