Volleyball Recap: Fletcher's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fletcher entered their tilt with Creekside on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Knights. This was payback for the Senators, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Fletcher might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Creekside scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-19, 27-25.

Ashton Kirton was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 31 digs and one assist. Those 31 digs gave her a new career-high.

Fletcher's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Creekside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.

Coming up, Fletcher will challenge Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Creekside, they will be playing at home against Tocoi Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
