Basketball Recap: Gervin Academy Takes a Loss

Gervin Academy lost against Founders Classical Academy back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gervin Academy Coyotes took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Founders Classical Academy Hoplites. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aslan Whyle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Founders Classical Academy, putting up 22 points. Whyle's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jedaiah Bernal, who posted ten points.

Gervin Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Founders Classical Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Gervin Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Founders Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-41 win against Lifegate Christian on the 10th.
