Volleyball Recap: Argonaut Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Argonaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Union Mine Diamondbacks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Diamondbacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Argonaut was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12, 25-13.

AJ Schultz paced Argonaut's offense, picking up five kills. Schultz got some help from Mia Maggi and her eight assists. Dacey Randolph controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Argonaut now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Union Mine, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Argonaut is set to face off against their familiar foe Liberty Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Union Mine will take on rival Bradshaw Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
