Soccer Game Preview: Glenbard East vs. Willowbrook

The Glenbard East Rams will face off against the Willowbrook Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Glenbard East's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, neither Glenbard East nor Glenbard South could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Willowbrook's offense. They lost 3-0 to Berwyn/Cicero Morton on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Willowbrook in their meetings with Berwyn/Cicero Morton: they've now lost six in a row.

Glenbard East's draw makes their record 0-3-2 this season. As for Willowbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Glenbard East came out on top in a nail-biter against Willowbrook in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
