Soccer Game Preview: Tyler vs. Whitehouse

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tyler duke it out with the Whitehouse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tyler is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Lufkin on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Lions have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Whitehouse was able to grind out a solid victory over Nacogdoches on Friday, taking the game 3-1.

Landon Neely and Braxton Ladwig scored all three of Whitehouse's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 36 goals.

Tyler now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Whitehouse, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
