Football Recap: Mayde Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Mayde Creek and Seven Lakes meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Rams fell 38-28 to the Spartans. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Mayde Creek still got an impressive performance from Jamaal Jones Jr, who rushed for 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Jones Jr was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.

Mayde Creek's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Seven Lakes, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.
