Baseball Recap: St. Peter Comes Up Short

St. Peter fell victim to Marshall and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 9-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Peter and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Marshall, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, St. Peter will welcome Waseca at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints are facing the Bluejays at the right time seeing as the Bluejays are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Marshall, they will venture away from home to square off against Hutchinson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
