Volleyball Recap: Tinora Rams vs. Parkway Panthers
The Tinora Rams came up short against the Parkway Panthers on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-18 in the first set.
Tinora started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-17.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkway to victory, but perhaps none more so than KJae Stover, who had 26 assists and eight digs. Those 26 assists gave Stover a new career-high. Madelyn Stover was another key player, getting 14 digs and two aces.
Tinora's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Looking ahead, Tinora will face off against Otsego at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkway, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Elida at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
