Baseball Recap: Jordan Wins Going Away Against Spring

Jordan won against Lamar on Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Jordan Warriors put the hurt on the Spring Lions with a sharp 8-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since March 5, 2024.

Aiden Johnston looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Jordan let Luis Vera and Bobby Richardson run wild. Vera scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Richardson scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Vera a new career-high in runs. Thomas Eugate was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Jordan's record is now 2-0. As for Spring, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Jordan will look to defend their home field on Friday against Crosby at 2:00 p.m. As for Spring, they will be taking part in a tournament against Waller at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
