Softball Recap: StoneBridge Takes a Loss

StoneBridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

StoneBridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

StoneBridge has already played their next match, a 16-0 loss against Peninsula Catholic on the 10th. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
