Football Recap: Shady Spring Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home + How To Watch

Shady Spring's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Berkeley Springs Indians with a 12-7 win.

Jalen Miller and Kyle Moore certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Miller threw for 172 yards and one TD on only 13 passes, while Moore gained 130 total yards and a touchdown. Moore was even better on defense, forcing one fumble and making 14 total tackles.

Shady Spring's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Berkeley Springs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Shady Spring will head out on the road to square off against Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Berkeley Springs, they will host Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Minutemen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 35 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
